Coran 2:166 — sourate Al-Baqarah, verset 166

إِذۡ تَبَرَّأَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتُّبِعُواْ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُواْ وَرَأَوُاْ ٱلۡعَذَابَ وَتَقَطَّعَتۡ بِهِمُ ٱلۡأَسۡبَابُ

Ce Jour-là, à la vue du châtiment, les chefs de l’impiété désavoueront ceux qui leur obéissaient aveuglément, avec lesquels tout lien sera rompu.

[And they should consider that] when those who have been followed disassociate themselves from those who followed [them], and they [all] see the punishment, and cut off from them are the ties [of relationship]

• Hilali & Khan: When those who were followed, disown (declare themselves innocent of) those who followed (them), and they see the torment, then all their relations will be cut off from them.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): [Consider] when those who were followed will disown their followers when they see the punishment, and all ties between them will be cut off.

Tafsir (explication) de ce verset 2:166

En raison des terribles et effroyables scènes dont ils seront témoins le Jour de la Résurrection, les meneurs se désavoueront de ceux qui les suivaient. Ce jour-là, aucune voie ni aucun moyen de salut ne leur profiteront.
