Coran 2:119 — sourate Al-Baqarah, verset 119

إِنَّآ أَرۡسَلۡنَٰكَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ بَشِيرٗا وَنَذِيرٗاۖ وَلَا تُسۡـَٔلُ عَنۡ أَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ

Nous t’avons envoyé aux hommes, porteur du message de vérité, pour leur annoncer la bonne nouvelle du Paradis et les mettre en garde contre l’Enfer. Mais tu n’es en rien responsable du comportement des êtres voués au Brasier.

Indeed, We have sent you, [O Muhammad], with the truth as a bringer of good tidings and a warner, and you will not be asked about the companions of Hellfire

• Noor International Center (fr): Nous t’avons envoyé avec la vérité en annonciateur d’heureuses nouvelles (bachîran) et en avertisseur du châtiment (nadhîran). Et tu n’auras pas à répondre des hôtes de la Géhenne.
• Hilali & Khan: Verily, We have sent you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) with the truth (Islâm), a bringer of glad tidings (for those who believe in what you brought, that they will enter Paradise) and a warner (for those who disbelieve in what you brought, that they will enter the Hell-fire). And you will not be asked about the dwellers of the blazing Fire.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): We have sent you with the truth [O Prophet] as a bearer of glad tidings and a warner, and you will not be questioned about the people of the Blazing Fire.

Tafsir (explication) de ce verset 2:119

Ô Prophète, Nous t’avons envoyé et t’avons révélé la véritable religion qui ne comporte aucune ambigüité afin que tu annonces aux croyants qu’ils hériteront du Paradis et que tu avertisses les mécréants qu’ils seront jetés en Enfer. Tu n’as comme obligation que de faire parvenir cela aux concernés de manière claire et Allah ne te demandera aucun compte concernant ceux qui n’ont pas cru en toi et seront jetés en Enfer.
