Coran 18:2 — sourate Al-Kahf, verset 2

قَيِّمٗا لِّيُنذِرَ بَأۡسٗا شَدِيدٗا مِّن لَّدُنۡهُ وَيُبَشِّرَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَعۡمَلُونَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ أَنَّ لَهُمۡ أَجۡرًا حَسَنٗا

Il est, au contraire, un livre d’une parfaite cohérence et sans aucune contradiction, destiné à avertir les hommes d’un terrible châtiment venant du Seigneur, à annoncer aux croyants qui font le bien qu’ils obtiendront une immense récompense,

[He has made it] straight, to warn of severe punishment from Him and to give good tidings to the believers who do righteous deeds that they will have a good reward

Tafsir (explication) de ce verset 18:2

Il fit plutôt du Coran un Livre droit, ne contenant aucune contradiction ni aucune incohérence, dont la finalité est de menacer les mécréants d’un châtiment sévère que leur réserve Allah et d’annoncer aux croyants qui accomplissent de bonnes œuvres, une nouvelle qui les réjouit, celle d’une récompense agréable et inégalée.
