Coran 16:85 — sourate An-Nahl, verset 85

وَإِذَا رَءَا ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ ٱلۡعَذَابَ فَلَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنۡهُمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ يُنظَرُونَ

Lorsque les mécréants verront le châtiment, ils n’obtiendront ni allégement, ni sursis à leurs tourments.

And when those who wronged see the punishment, it will not be lightened for them, nor will they be reprieved

• Hilali & Khan: And when those who did wrong (the disbelievers) will see the torment, then it will not be lightened unto them, nor will they be given respite.

Tafsir (explication) de ce verset 16:85

Ce Jour-là, les polythéistes injustes verront de leurs yeux le châtiment qui leur est préparé et qu’on ne reportera pas le moment où ils le subiront. Ils leur sera plutôt instantanément infligé et pour l’éternité.
