Koran 9:96 — Sure At-Tawbah, Vers 96

يَحۡلِفُونَ لَكُمۡ لِتَرۡضَوۡاْ عَنۡهُمۡۖ فَإِن تَرۡضَوۡاْ عَنۡهُمۡ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَرۡضَىٰ عَنِ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلۡفَٰسِقِينَ

Sie schwören euch, damit ihr mit ihnen zufrieden seid. Und wenn ihr auch mit ihnen zufrieden seid, so ist Allah doch nicht zufrieden mit dem Volk der Frevler.

They swear to you so that you might be satisfied with them. But if you should be satisfied with them - indeed, Allah is not satisfied with a defiantly disobedient people

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): Sie schwören euch, damit ihr mit ihnen zufrieden seid. Wenn ihr nun mit ihnen zufrieden sein solltet, so ist Allah gewiss nicht zufrieden mit dem Volk der Frevler.
• Hilali & Khan: They (the hypocrites) swear to you (Muslims) that you may be pleased with them, but if you are pleased with them, certainly Allâh is not pleased with the people who are Al-Fâsiqûn (rebellious, disobedient to Allâh).
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): They will swear to you in order to please you. Even if you are pleased with them, Allah will not be pleased with the rebellious people.
