Koran 9:93 — Sure At-Tawbah, Vers 93

۞إِنَّمَا ٱلسَّبِيلُ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ يَسۡتَـٔۡذِنُونَكَ وَهُمۡ أَغۡنِيَآءُۚ رَضُواْ بِأَن يَكُونُواْ مَعَ ٱلۡخَوَالِفِ وَطَبَعَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمۡ فَهُمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ

Eine Möglichkeit (zu belangen) gibt es nur gegen diejenigen, die dich um Erlaubnis bitten, obwohl sie reich sind. Sie waren damit zufrieden, (zusammen) mit den zurückbleibenden Frauen zu sein. Allah hat ihre Herzen versiegelt, so daß sie nicht Bescheid wissen.

The cause [for blame] is only upon those who ask permission of you while they are rich. They are satisfied to be with those who stay behind, and Allah has sealed over their hearts, so they do not know

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): Eine Möglichkeit (zur Belangung) gibt es nur gegen diejenigen, die dich um Erlaubnis bitten, obwohl sie reich sind. Sie waren damit zufrieden, (zusammen) mit den Zurückgebliebenen zu sein. Und Allah hat ihre Herzen versiegelt, sodass sie nicht Bescheid wissen.
• Hilali & Khan: The ground (of complaint) is only against those who are rich, and yet ask exemption. They are content to be with (the women) who sit behind (at home) and Allâh has sealed up their hearts (from all kinds of goodness and right guidance) so that they know not (what they are losing).
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Blame is only on those who ask you for exemption even though they are affluent. They are content to stay behind with the helpless, and Allah has sealed their hearts so they do not know.
