Koran 9:64 — Sure At-Tawbah, Vers 64

يَحۡذَرُ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقُونَ أَن تُنَزَّلَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ سُورَةٞ تُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا فِي قُلُوبِهِمۡۚ قُلِ ٱسۡتَهۡزِءُوٓاْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مُخۡرِجٞ مَّا تَحۡذَرُونَ

Die Heuchler fürchten, daß eine Sura über sie offenbart werden könnte, die ihnen kundtut, was in ihren Herzen ist. Sag: Macht euch (nur) lustig! Allah wird herausbringen, was ihr fürchtet.

They hypocrites are apprehensive lest a surah be revealed about them, informing them of what is in their hearts. Say, "Mock [as you wish]; indeed, Allah will expose that which you fear

• Hilali & Khan: The hypocrites fear lest a Sûrah (chapter of the Qur’ân) should be revealed about them, showing them what is in their hearts. Say: "(Go ahead and) mock! But certainly Allâh will bring to light all that you fear."
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): The hypocrites fear that a chapter should be sent down about them, informing [the believers] of what is in their hearts. Say [O Prophet], “Keep on mocking! Allah will certainly expose what you fear.”
