Koran 9:62 — Sure At-Tawbah, Vers 62

يَحۡلِفُونَ بِٱللَّهِ لَكُمۡ لِيُرۡضُوكُمۡ وَٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥٓ أَحَقُّ أَن يُرۡضُوهُ إِن كَانُواْ مُؤۡمِنِينَ

Sie schwören euch bei Allah, um euch zufriedenzustellen. Aber Allah - und (auch) Sein Gesandter - hat ein größeres Anrecht darauf, daß sie Ihn zufriedenstellen, wenn sie gläubig sind.

They swear by Allah to you [Muslims] to satisfy you. But Allah and His Messenger are more worthy for them to satisfy, if they should be believers

• Hilali & Khan: They swear by Allâh to you (Muslims) in order to please you, but it is more fitting that they should please Allâh and His Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), if they are believers.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): They swear by Allah to you [O Muslims] to please you, but it is Allah and His Messenger whose pleasure they should seek, if they are true believers.
