Koran 9:18 — Sure At-Tawbah, Vers 18

إِنَّمَا يَعۡمُرُ مَسَٰجِدَ ٱللَّهِ مَنۡ ءَامَنَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡأٓخِرِ وَأَقَامَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتَى ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَلَمۡ يَخۡشَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهَۖ فَعَسَىٰٓ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ أَن يَكُونُواْ مِنَ ٱلۡمُهۡتَدِينَ

Gewiß, Allahs Gebetsstätten bevölkert nur, wer an Allah und den Jüngsten Tag glaubt, das Gebet verrichtet, die Abgabe entrichtet und niemanden außer Allah fürchtet. Diese aber werden vielleicht zu den Rechtgeleiteten gehören.

The mosques of Allah are only to be maintained by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day and establish prayer and give zakah and do not fear except Allah, for it is expected that those will be of the [rightly] guided

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): Wahrlich, die Gebetsstätten Allahs bevölkert nur, wer an Allah und den Jüngsten Tag glaubt, das Gebet verrichtet, die Pflichtabgabe entrichtet und niemanden außer Allah fürchtet. So werden jene vielleicht (hier: gewiss) zu den Rechtgeleiteten gehören.
• Hilali & Khan: The Mosques of Allâh shall be maintained only by those who believe in Allâh and the Last Day, perform As-Salât (Iqâmat-as-Salât), and give Zakât and fear none but Allâh. It is they who are on true guidance.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): The mosques of Allah are only to be maintained by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day, establish prayer, give zakah and fear none but Allah. It is they who are expected to be rightly guided.
