Koran 9:1 — Sure At-Tawbah, Vers 1

بَرَآءَةٞ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦٓ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ عَٰهَدتُّم مِّنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ

Eine Lossagung von Seiten Allahs und Seines Gesandten an diejenigen unter den Götzendienern, mit denen ihr einen Vertrag abgeschlossen habt.

[This is a declaration of] disassociation, from Allah and His Messenger, to those with whom you had made a treaty among the polytheists

• Hilali & Khan: Freedom from (all) obligations (is declared) from Allâh and His Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) to those of the Mushrikûn (polytheists, pagans, idolaters, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh), with whom you made a treaty.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): [This is] a declaration of disassociation by Allah and His Messenger to those polytheists with whom you have made a treaty.
