Koran 8:66 — Sure Al-Anfal, Vers 66

ٱلۡـَٰٔنَ خَفَّفَ ٱللَّهُ عَنكُمۡ وَعَلِمَ أَنَّ فِيكُمۡ ضَعۡفٗاۚ فَإِن يَكُن مِّنكُم مِّاْئَةٞ صَابِرَةٞ يَغۡلِبُواْ مِاْئَتَيۡنِۚ وَإِن يَكُن مِّنكُمۡ أَلۡفٞ يَغۡلِبُوٓاْ أَلۡفَيۡنِ بِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِۗ وَٱللَّهُ مَعَ ٱلصَّـٰبِرِينَ

Jetzt (aber) hat Allah es euch leicht gemacht. Er weiß ja, daß in euch Schwaches (angelegt) ist. Wenn es nun unter euch hundert Standhafte gibt, werden sie zweihundert besiegen, und wenn es unter euch Tausend gibt, werden sie Zweitausend besiegen, mit Allahs Erlaubnis. Allah ist mit den Standhaften.

Now, Allah has lightened [the hardship] for you, and He knows that among you is weakness. So if there are from you one hundred [who are] steadfast, they will overcome two hundred. And if there are among you a thousand, they will overcome two thousand by permission of Allah. And Allah is with the steadfast

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): Jetzt (aber) hat Allah euch Erleichterung gewährt. Er weiß ja, dass in euch (und euren Reihen) Schwaches (angelegt) ist. Wenn es nun unter euch hundert Geduldige geben sollte, werden sie zweihundert besiegen, und wenn es unter euch tausend geben sollte, werden sie zweitausend besiegen, (und dies) mit der Erlaubnis Allahs. Und Allah ist mit den Geduldigen.
• Hilali & Khan: Now Allâh has lightened your (task), for He knows that there is weakness in you. So if there are of you a hundred steadfast persons, they shall overcome two hundreds, and if there are a thousand of you, they shall overcome two thousand with the Leave of Allâh. And Allâh is with As-Sâbirûn (the patient).
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Now Allah has lightened your burden, for He knew that there is weakness in you. So if there are a hundred steadfast men among you, they will overcome two hundred; and if there are a thousand, they will overcome two thousand, by Allah’s permission. And Allah is with those who are steadfast.
