Koran 60:11 — Sure Al-Mumtahanah, Vers 11

وَإِن فَاتَكُمۡ شَيۡءٞ مِّنۡ أَزۡوَٰجِكُمۡ إِلَى ٱلۡكُفَّارِ فَعَاقَبۡتُمۡ فَـَٔاتُواْ ٱلَّذِينَ ذَهَبَتۡ أَزۡوَٰجُهُم مِّثۡلَ مَآ أَنفَقُواْۚ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنتُم بِهِۦ مُؤۡمِنُونَ

Und wenn euch etwas von euren Gattinnen bei den Ungläubigen verlorengeht und ihr dann (in) eine(r) Strafmaßnahme (Beute) macht, dann gebt denjenigen, deren Gattinnen fortgegangen sind, soviel, wie sie (zuvor für sie) ausgegeben haben. Und fürchtet Allah, an Den ihr glaubt.

And if you have lost any of your wives to the disbelievers and you subsequently obtain [something], then give those whose wives have gone the equivalent of what they had spent. And fear Allah, in whom you are believers

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): Und wenn euch etwas von euren Gattinnen bei den Ungläubigen verloren geht und ihr dann (in) eine(r Schlacht) (Kriegs)beute macht, dann gebt denjenigen (muslimischen Männern), deren Gattinnen fortgegangen sind, soviel, wie sie (zuvor für die ungläubigen Frauen) ausgegeben haben. Und fürchtet Allah, Dem ihr gegenüber Gläubige seid.
• Hilali & Khan: And if any of your wives have gone from you to the disbelievers, (as apostates and you asked them to return back your Mahr but they refused) - then you went out for a Ghazwah (military expedition) (against them and) gained booty; then pay from that booty to those whose wives have gone, the equivalent of what they had spent (on their Mahr ). And fear Allâh in Whom you believe.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): If any of your wives desert you and join the disbelievers [without returning your dowries], and later you take spoils from them, then give to those whose wives have deserted them the equivalent of what they had spent. And fear Allah, in Whom you believe.
