Koran 6:96 — Sure Al-An'am, Vers 96

فَالِقُ ٱلۡإِصۡبَاحِ وَجَعَلَ ٱلَّيۡلَ سَكَنٗا وَٱلشَّمۡسَ وَٱلۡقَمَرَ حُسۡبَانٗاۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَقۡدِيرُ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡعَلِيمِ

Er, Der den Morgen anbrechen läßt’. Er hat die Nacht zur Ruhe(zeit) und die Sonne und den Mond als (Mittel der) Berechnung gemacht. Das ist die Anordnung des Allmächtigen und Allwissenden.

[He is] the cleaver of daybreak and has made the night for rest and the sun and moon for calculation. That is the determination of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing

• Rowwad Translation Center (en): It is He Who cleaves the daybreak, and made the night for rest, and the sun and the moon with a precise measurement; that is the design of the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing.
