Koran 6:70 — Sure Al-An'am, Vers 70

وَذَرِ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّخَذُواْ دِينَهُمۡ لَعِبٗا وَلَهۡوٗا وَغَرَّتۡهُمُ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنۡيَاۚ وَذَكِّرۡ بِهِۦٓ أَن تُبۡسَلَ نَفۡسُۢ بِمَا كَسَبَتۡ لَيۡسَ لَهَا مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَلِيّٞ وَلَا شَفِيعٞ وَإِن تَعۡدِلۡ كُلَّ عَدۡلٖ لَّا يُؤۡخَذۡ مِنۡهَآۗ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُبۡسِلُواْ بِمَا كَسَبُواْۖ لَهُمۡ شَرَابٞ مِّنۡ حَمِيمٖ وَعَذَابٌ أَلِيمُۢ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكۡفُرُونَ

Und lasse diejenigen allein, die ihre Religion zum Gegenstand des Spiels und der Zerstreuung nehmen und die das diesseitige Leben täuscht! Und ermahne durch ihn, damit sich keine Seele für das, was sie verdient hat, dem Verderben ausliefert. Sie hat (dann) außer Allah weder Schutzherrn noch Fürsprecher. Und wenn sie auch (als Lösegeld) jede Ersatzleistung anbietet, wird sie von ihr doch nicht angenommen. Das sind diejenigen, die dem Verderben ausgeliefert werden für das, was sie verdient haben. Für sie wird es ein Getränk aus heißem Wasser und schmerzhafte Strafe geben dafür, daß sie ungläubig gewesen sind.

And leave those who take their religion as amusement and diversion and whom the worldly life has deluded. But remind with the Qur'an, lest a soul be given up to destruction for what it earned; it will have other than Allah no protector and no intercessor. And if it should offer every compensation, it would not be taken from it. Those are the ones who are given to destruction for what they have earned. For them will be a drink of scalding water and a painful punishment because they used to disbelieve

Und wenn sie auch (als Lösegeld) jede Ersatzleistung anbietet, wird sie von ihr doch nicht angenommen. Jene sind es, die dem Verderben ausgeliefert werden für das, was sie erworben haben. Für sie wird es ein Getränk aus heißem Wasser und schmerzhafte Strafe geben dafür, dass sie ungläubig gewesen sind.
• Hilali & Khan: And leave alone those who take their religion as play and amusement, and whom the life of this world has deceived. But remind (them) with it (the Qur’ân) lest a person be given up to destruction for that which he has earned, when he will find for himself no protector or intercessor besides Allâh, and even if he offers every ransom, it will not be accepted from him. Such are they who are given up to destruction because of that which they have earned. For them will be a drink of boiling water and a painful torment because they used to disbelieve.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Leave those who take their religion as play and amusement, and are deluded by the life of this world. But admonish them with this [Qur’an], so no soul should be ruined for its misdeeds – having no protector or intercessor other than Allah. Even if they were to offer every form of ransom, it will not be accepted. Such are the ones who will be ruined for their misdeeds. They will have scalding water to drink and a painful punishment for their disbelief.
