Koran 57:8 — Sure Al-Hadid, Vers 8

وَمَا لَكُمۡ لَا تُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلرَّسُولُ يَدۡعُوكُمۡ لِتُؤۡمِنُواْ بِرَبِّكُمۡ وَقَدۡ أَخَذَ مِيثَٰقَكُمۡ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤۡمِنِينَ

Was ist mit euch, daß ihr nicht an Allah glauben wollt, wo doch der Gesandte euch dazu aufruft, an euren Herrn zu glauben, und wo Er bereits ein Abkommen mit euch getroffen hat, wenn ihr gläubig seid?

And why do you not believe in Allah while the Messenger invites you to believe in your Lord and He has taken your covenant, if you should [truly] be believers

• Hilali & Khan: And what is the matter with you that you believe not in Allâh! While the Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) invites you to believe in your Lord (Allâh); and He (Allâh) has indeed taken your covenant, if you are real believers.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Why is it that you do not believe in Allah when the Messenger is calling you to believe in your Lord, and He has already taken a covenant from you, if you will ever believe?
