Koran 5:94 — Sure Al-Ma'idah, Vers 94

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَيَبۡلُوَنَّكُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِشَيۡءٖ مِّنَ ٱلصَّيۡدِ تَنَالُهُۥٓ أَيۡدِيكُمۡ وَرِمَاحُكُمۡ لِيَعۡلَمَ ٱللَّهُ مَن يَخَافُهُۥ بِٱلۡغَيۡبِۚ فَمَنِ ٱعۡتَدَىٰ بَعۡدَ ذَٰلِكَ فَلَهُۥ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ

O die ihr glaubt, Allah wird euch ganz gewiß mit etwas von dem Jagdwild prüfen, das eure Hände und Lanzen erreichen (können), damit Allah denjenigen kenne, der Ihn im Verborgenen fürchtet. Wer nun danach eine Übertretung begeht, für den gibt es schmerzhafte Strafe.

O you who have believed, Allah will surely test you through something of the game that your hands and spears [can] reach, that Allah may make evident those who fear Him unseen. And whoever transgresses after that - for him is a painful punishment

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): O die ihr glaubt, Allah wird euch ganz gewiss mit (etwas von) dem Jagdwild prüfen, das eure Hände und Lanzen erreichen (können), damit Allah denjenigen kenne, der Ihn im Verborgenen fürchtet. Wer nun danach eine Übertretung begeht, für den gibt es schmerzhafte Strafe.
• Hilali & Khan: O you who believe! Allâh will certainly make a trial of you with something in (the matter of) the game that is well within the reach of your hands and your lances, that Allâh may test him who fears Him unseen. Then whoever transgresses thereafter, for him there is a painful torment.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): O you who believe, Allah will surely test you with game within the reach of your hands and spears, so that Allah may distinguish those who fear Him unseen. Whoever transgresses after that, for him there will be a painful punishment.
