Koran 5:51 — Sure Al-Ma'idah, Vers 51

۞يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تَتَّخِذُواْ ٱلۡيَهُودَ وَٱلنَّصَٰرَىٰٓ أَوۡلِيَآءَۘ بَعۡضُهُمۡ أَوۡلِيَآءُ بَعۡضٖۚ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّهُم مِّنكُمۡ فَإِنَّهُۥ مِنۡهُمۡۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهۡدِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

O die ihr glaubt, nehmt nicht die Juden und die Christen zu Schutzherren! Sie sind einer des anderen Schutzherren. Und wer von euch sie zu Schutzherren nimmt, der gehört zu ihnen. Gewiß, Allah leitet das ungerechte Volk nicht recht.

O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies. They are [in fact] allies of one another. And whoever is an ally to them among you - then indeed, he is [one] of them. Indeed, Allah guides not the wrongdoing people

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): O die ihr glaubt, nehmt nicht die Juden und die Christen zu Schutzherren! Die einen von ihnen sind Schutzherren der anderen. Und wer von euch sie zu Schutzherren nimmt, der gehört fürwahr zu ihnen. Wahrlich, Allah leitet das ungerechte Volk nicht recht.
• Hilali & Khan: O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians as Auliyâ’ (friends, protectors, helpers), they are but Auliyâ’ of each other. And if any amongst you takes them (as Auliyâ’), then surely he is one of them. Verily, Allâh guides not those people who are the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers and unjust).
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): O you who believe, do not take the Jews and Christians as allies; they are allies of one another. Whoever among you takes them as allies is indeed one of them. Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.
