Koran 5:30 — Sure Al-Ma'idah, Vers 30

فَطَوَّعَتۡ لَهُۥ نَفۡسُهُۥ قَتۡلَ أَخِيهِ فَقَتَلَهُۥ فَأَصۡبَحَ مِنَ ٱلۡخَٰسِرِينَ

Doch machte ihn seine Seele willig, seinen Bruder zu töten. Und so tötete er ihn. Und er wurde einer von den Verlierern.

And his soul permitted to him the murder of his brother, so he killed him and became among the losers

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): Da bewegte ihn seine Seele dazu, seinen Bruder zu töten. So tötete er ihn und wurde dadurch einer der Verlierer.
• Hilali & Khan: So the Nafs (self) of the other (latter one) encouraged him and made fair-seeming to him the murder of his brother; he murdered him and became one of the losers.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): But the former justified to himself the killing of his brother and killed him, and thus became one of the losers.
