Koran 45:18 — Sure Al-Jathiyah, Vers 18

ثُمَّ جَعَلۡنَٰكَ عَلَىٰ شَرِيعَةٖ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَمۡرِ فَٱتَّبِعۡهَا وَلَا تَتَّبِعۡ أَهۡوَآءَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ

Hierauf haben Wir dich auf eine Richtung in der Angelegenheit (der Religion) festgelegt. So folge ihr und folge nicht den Neigungen derjenigen, die nicht Bescheid wissen.

Then We put you, [O Muhammad], on an ordained way concerning the matter [of religion]; so follow it and do not follow the inclinations of those who do not know

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): Hierauf haben Wir dich auf eine Richtung in der Angelegenheit (der Religion) festgelegt. So folge ihr und folge nicht den Neigungen derjenigen, die nicht Bescheid wissen.
• Hilali & Khan: Then We have put you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم) on a (plain) way of (Our) commandment [like the one which We commanded Our Messengers before you (i.e. legal ways and laws of the Islâmic Monotheism)]. So follow you that (Islâmic Monotheism and its laws), and follow not the desires of those who know not. (Tafsir At-Tabarî).
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Then We put you [O Prophet] on a clear way of the religion; so follow it and do not follow the desires of those who have no knowledge.
