Koran 41:15 — Sure Fussilat, Vers 15

فَأَمَّا عَادٞ فَٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ بِغَيۡرِ ٱلۡحَقِّ وَقَالُواْ مَنۡ أَشَدُّ مِنَّا قُوَّةًۖ أَوَلَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَهُمۡ هُوَ أَشَدُّ مِنۡهُمۡ قُوَّةٗۖ وَكَانُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا يَجۡحَدُونَ

Was nun die ’Ad angeht, so verhielten sie sich hochmütig auf der Erde ohne Recht und sagten: Wer hat eine stärkere Kraft als wir? Sahen sie denn nicht, daß Allah, Der sie erschaffen hatte, eine stärkere Kraft hat als sie? Aber sie pflegten Unsere Zeichen zu verleugnen.

As for 'Aad, they were arrogant upon the earth without right and said, "Who is greater than us in strength?" Did they not consider that Allah who created them was greater than them in strength? But they were rejecting Our signs

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): Was nun die 'Ad angeht, so verhielten sie sich hochmütig auf der Erde ohne Recht und sagten: „Wer hat eine stärkere Kraft als wir?“ Haben sie denn nicht gesehen, dass Allah, Der sie erschaffen hatte, eine stärkere Kraft hat als sie? Aber sie pflegten Unsere Zeichen zu verleugnen.
• Hilali & Khan: As for ‘Âd, they were arrogant in the land without right, and they said: "Who is mightier than us in strength?" See they not that Allâh, Who created them was mightier in strength than them. And they used to deny Our Ayât (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, revelations, etc.)!
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): As for ‘Ād, they were arrogant in the land without right, and said, “Who is more powerful than us?” Did they not see that Allah, Who created them, is more powerful than them? Yet they continued to reject Our signs.
