Koran 41:12 — Sure Fussilat, Vers 12

فَقَضَىٰهُنَّ سَبۡعَ سَمَٰوَاتٖ فِي يَوۡمَيۡنِ وَأَوۡحَىٰ فِي كُلِّ سَمَآءٍ أَمۡرَهَاۚ وَزَيَّنَّا ٱلسَّمَآءَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا بِمَصَٰبِيحَ وَحِفۡظٗاۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَقۡدِيرُ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡعَلِيمِ

So führte Er sie als sieben Himmel in zwei Tagen aus und gab jedem Himmel seine Aufgabe ein. Und Wir haben den untersten Himmel mit Lampen geschmückt, und auch als Schutz. Das ist die Anordnung des Allmächtigen und Allwissenden.

And He completed them as seven heavens within two days and inspired in each heaven its command. And We adorned the nearest heaven with lamps and as protection. That is the determination of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): So führte Er sie als sieben Himmel in zwei Tagen aus und gab jedem Himmel seine Aufgabe ein. Und Wir haben den untersten Himmel mit Lampen geschmückt, und auch als Schutz. Dies ist die Anordnung des Allmächtigen und des Allwissenden.
• Hilali & Khan: Then He completed and finished from their creation (as) seven heavens in two Days and He made in each heaven its affair. And We adorned the nearest (lowest) heaven with lamps (stars) to be an adornment as well as to guard (from the devils by using them as missiles against the devils). Such is the Decree of Him the All-Mighty, the All-Knower.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): He then formed them into seven heavens in two Days and assigned to each heaven its mandate. And We adorned the lowest heaven with lamps [i.e., stars] which also serve as protection. That is the design of the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing.”
