Koran 4:35 — Sure An-Nisa, Vers 35

وَإِنۡ خِفۡتُمۡ شِقَاقَ بَيۡنِهِمَا فَٱبۡعَثُواْ حَكَمٗا مِّنۡ أَهۡلِهِۦ وَحَكَمٗا مِّنۡ أَهۡلِهَآ إِن يُرِيدَآ إِصۡلَٰحٗا يُوَفِّقِ ٱللَّهُ بَيۡنَهُمَآۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيمًا خَبِيرٗا

Und wenn ihr Widerstreit zwischen den beiden befürchtet, dann setzt einen Schiedsrichter aus seiner Familie und einen Schiedsrichter aus ihrer Familie ein. Wenn sie (beide) eine Aussöhnung wollen, wird Allah sie (beide) in Einklang bringen. Gewiß, Allah ist Allwissend und Allkundig.

And if you fear dissension between the two, send an arbitrator from his people and an arbitrator from her people. If they both desire reconciliation, Allah will cause it between them. Indeed, Allah is ever Knowing and Acquainted [with all things]

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): Wenn ihr nun Widerstreit zwischen den beiden (also Mann und seiner Ehefrau) befürchtet, dann setzt einen Richter aus seiner Familie und einen Richter aus ihrer Familie ein. Wenn sie beide (also die beiden Richter) eine Aussöhnung wollen, wird Allah sie beide (also das Ehepaar) in Einklang bringen. Wahrlich, Allah ist allwissend und allkundig.
• Hilali & Khan: If you fear a breach between them twain (the man and his wife), appoint (two) arbitrators, one from his family and the other from her’s; if they both wish for peace, Allâh will cause their reconciliation. Indeed Allâh is Ever All-Knower, Well-Acquainted with all things.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): If you fear a breach between them, appoint an arbitrator from his family and another from hers. If they both want reconciliation, Allah will bring harmony between them. Indeed, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware.
