Koran 35:44 — Sure Fatir, Vers 44

أَوَلَمۡ يَسِيرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَيَنظُرُواْ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ وَكَانُوٓاْ أَشَدَّ مِنۡهُمۡ قُوَّةٗۚ وَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِيُعۡجِزَهُۥ مِن شَيۡءٖ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَلَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ عَلِيمٗا قَدِيرٗا

Sind sie denn nicht auf der Erde umhergereist, so daß sie schauen (konnten), wie das Ende derjenigen war, die vor ihnen waren und die eine stärkere Kraft als sie hatten? Und Allah kann sich nichts entziehen - weder in den Himmeln noch auf der Erde, denn Er ist Allwissend und Allmächtig.

Have they not traveled through the land and observed how was the end of those before them? And they were greater than them in power. But Allah is not to be caused failure by anything in the heavens or on the earth. Indeed, He is ever Knowing and Competent

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): Sind sie denn nicht auf der Erde umhergereist, sodass sie schauen (konnten), wie das Ende derjenigen war, die vor ihnen waren und die eine stärkere Kraft als sie hatten? Und nichts kann sich Allah entziehen - weder in den Himmeln noch auf der Erde, denn Er ist allwissend und allmächtig.
• Hilali & Khan: Have they not travelled in the land, and seen what was the end of those before them - though they were superior to them in power? Allâh is not such that anything in the heavens or in the earth escapes Him. Verily, He is All-Knowing, All-Omnipotent.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Have they not traveled in the land to see what was the end of those who came before them? They were more powerful than them. Allah is not such that something can escape Him in the heavens or on earth. He is indeed All-Knowing, Most Capable.
