Koran 31:17 — Sure Luqman, Vers 17

يَٰبُنَيَّ أَقِمِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَأۡمُرۡ بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ وَٱنۡهَ عَنِ ٱلۡمُنكَرِ وَٱصۡبِرۡ عَلَىٰ مَآ أَصَابَكَۖ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ مِنۡ عَزۡمِ ٱلۡأُمُورِ

O mein lieber Sohn, verrichte das Gebet, gebiete das Rechte und verbiete das Verwerfliche und ertrage standhaft, was dich trifft. Gewiß, dies gehört zur Entschlossenheit (in der Handhabung) der Angelegenheiten.

O my son, establish prayer, enjoin what is right, forbid what is wrong, and be patient over what befalls you. Indeed, [all] that is of the matters [requiring] determination

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): O mein lieber Sohn, verrichte das Gebet, gebiete das Gute und verbiete das Verwerfliche und ertrage geduldig, was dich trifft. Wahrlich, dies gehört zur Entschlossenheit in den Angelegenheiten.
• Hilali & Khan: "O my son! Aqim-As-Salât (perform As-Salât), enjoin (on people) Al-Ma‘rûf - (Islâmic Monotheism and all that is good), and forbid (people) from Al-Munkar (i.e. disbelief in the Oneness of Allâh, polytheism of all kinds and all that is evil and bad), and bear with patience whatever befalls you. Verily, these are some of the important commandments (ordered by Allâh with no exemption).
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): “O my dear son, establish prayer, enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong, and be patient with whatever befalls you. This is a matter of firm resolve.
