Koran 30:57 — Sure Ar-Rum, Vers 57

فَيَوۡمَئِذٖ لَّا يَنفَعُ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ مَعۡذِرَتُهُمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ يُسۡتَعۡتَبُونَ

So wird an jenem Tag denjenigen, die Unrecht tun, ihre Entschuldigung nicht nützen, und es wird ihnen keine Gnade erwiesen.

So that Day, their excuse will not benefit those who wronged, nor will they be asked to appease [Allah]

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): So wird an jenem Tag denjenigen, die Unrecht taten, ihre (vorgelegte) Entschuldigung nicht nützen, und es wird von ihnen keine Zufriedenstellung (und Rückkehr) mehr erwartet.
• Hilali & Khan: So on that Day no excuse of theirs will avail those who did wrong (by associating partners in worship with Allâh, and by denying the Day of Resurrection), nor will they be allowed (then) to return to seek Allâh’s Pleasure (by having Islâmic Faith with righteous deeds and by giving up polytheism, sins and crimes with repentance).
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): On that Day, no excuse will benefit the wrongdoers, nor will they be allowed to make amends.
