Koran 30:53 — Sure Ar-Rum, Vers 53

وَمَآ أَنتَ بِهَٰدِ ٱلۡعُمۡيِ عَن ضَلَٰلَتِهِمۡۖ إِن تُسۡمِعُ إِلَّا مَن يُؤۡمِنُ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا فَهُم مُّسۡلِمُونَ

Noch kannst du die Blinden aus ihrem Irrtum heraus rechtleiten. Hören lassen kannst du nur, wer an Unsere Zeichen glaubt und die somit (Allah) ergeben sind.

And you cannot guide the blind away from their error. You will only make hear those who believe in Our verses so they are Muslims [in submission to Allah]

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): Und du kannst die Blinden nicht aus ihrem Irrtum rechtleiten. Hören lassen kannst du nur die, die an Unsere Zeichen glauben und somit (Allah ergebene) Muslime sind.
• Hilali & Khan: And you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) cannot guide the blind from their straying; you can make to hear only those who believe in Our Ayât (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and have submitted to Allâh in Islâm (as Muslims).
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Nor can you guide the blind out of their misguidance. You cannot make anyone hear except those who believe in Our verses, for they are ready to submit [to Allah].
