Koran 30:39 — Sure Ar-Rum, Vers 39

وَمَآ ءَاتَيۡتُم مِّن رِّبٗا لِّيَرۡبُوَاْ فِيٓ أَمۡوَٰلِ ٱلنَّاسِ فَلَا يَرۡبُواْ عِندَ ٱللَّهِۖ وَمَآ ءَاتَيۡتُم مِّن زَكَوٰةٖ تُرِيدُونَ وَجۡهَ ٱللَّهِ فَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡمُضۡعِفُونَ

Und was ihr an Ausgaben aufwendet, damit sie sich aus dem Besitz der Menschen vermehren, sie vermehren sich nicht bei Allah. Was ihr aber an Abgaben entrichtet im Begehren nach Allahs Angesicht ... - das sind diejenigen, die das Vielfache erzielen.

And whatever you give for interest to increase within the wealth of people will not increase with Allah. But what you give in zakah, desiring the countenance of Allah - those are the multipliers

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): Und was ihr an Zins ausleiht, damit es sich aus dem Vermögen der Menschen vermehre, so vermehrt es sich bei Allah nicht. Und was ihr aber an Pflichtabgaben entrichtet, indem ihr das Angesicht Allahs begehrt - so sind es jene, die das Vielfache erzielen.
• Hilali & Khan: And that which you give in gift (to others), in order that it may increase (your wealth by expecting to get a better one in return) from other people’s property, has no increase with Allâh; but that which you give in Zakât (sadaqa - charity etc.) seeking Allâh’s Countenance, then those, they shall have manifold increase.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Whatever you lend in usury in order to gain more at the expense of people’s wealth, it will not increase [in reward] with Allah. But whatever you give as charity, seeking Allah’s pleasure – it is they who will have multiple rewards.
