Koran 3:146 — Sure Ali 'Imran, Vers 146

وَكَأَيِّن مِّن نَّبِيّٖ قَٰتَلَ مَعَهُۥ رِبِّيُّونَ كَثِيرٞ فَمَا وَهَنُواْ لِمَآ أَصَابَهُمۡ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَمَا ضَعُفُواْ وَمَا ٱسۡتَكَانُواْۗ وَٱللَّهُ يُحِبُّ ٱلصَّـٰبِرِينَ

Und mit wie vielen Propheten zusammen kämpften zahlreiche Bekenner des Herrn! Doch sie gaben nicht auf ob dessen, was sie auf Allahs Weg traf, noch wurden sie schwach, noch unterwarfen sie sich. Und Allah liebt die Standhaften.

And how many a prophet [fought and] with him fought many religious scholars. But they never lost assurance due to what afflicted them in the cause of Allah, nor did they weaken or submit. And Allah loves the steadfast

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): Und mit wie vielen Propheten zusammen kämpften zahlreiche (rechtschaffene) Scharen! Sie erlahmten nicht wegen dessen, was sie auf dem Weg Allahs traf, und sie wurden nicht schwach, und sie unterwarfen sich nicht. Und Allah liebt die Geduldigen.
• Hilali & Khan: And many a Prophet (i.e. many from amongst the Prophets) fought (in Allâh’s Cause) and along with him (fought) large bands of religious learned men. But they never lost heart for that which did befall them in Allâh’s Way, nor did they weaken nor degrade themselves. And Allâh loves As-Sâbirûn (the patient).
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): [Imagine] how many prophets along with the devout men fought, but they did not lose heart because of what they suffered in the way of Allah, nor did they weaken or surrender. And Allah loves those who are patient.
