Koran 28:46 — Sure Al-Qasas, Vers 46

وَمَا كُنتَ بِجَانِبِ ٱلطُّورِ إِذۡ نَادَيۡنَا وَلَٰكِن رَّحۡمَةٗ مِّن رَّبِّكَ لِتُنذِرَ قَوۡمٗا مَّآ أَتَىٰهُم مِّن نَّذِيرٖ مِّن قَبۡلِكَ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ

Und du warst nicht auf der Seite des Berges, als Wir zuriefen. Aber (die Offenbarung ist) als Barmherzigkeit von deinem Herrn (zu dir gekommen), damit du Leute warnst, zu denen noch kein Warner vor dir gekommen ist, auf daß sie bedenken mögen.

And you were not at the side of the mount when We called [Moses] but [were sent] as a mercy from your Lord to warn a people to whom no warner had come before you that they might be reminded

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): Und du warst nicht auf der Seite des (Berges) Tur, als Wir (Musa) zuriefen. Aber (die Offenbarung ist) als Barmherzigkeit von deinem Herrn (zu dir gekommen), damit du Leute warnst, zu denen noch kein Warner vor dir gekommen ist, auf dass sie bedenken mögen.
• Hilali & Khan: And you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) were not at the side of the Tûr (Mount) when We did call: [it is said that Allâh called the followers of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم, and they answered His Call, or that Allâh called Mûsâ (Moses)]. But (you are sent) as a mercy from your Lord, to give warning to a people to whom no warner had come before you: in order that they may remember or receive admonition. [Tafsir At-Tabarî].
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): You were not at the side of Mount Tūr when We called out [to Moses]. But [you have been sent] as a mercy from your Lord, to warn a people to whom no warner had come before you, so that they may take heed.
