Koran 2:36 — Sure Al-Baqarah, Vers 36

فَأَزَلَّهُمَا ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ عَنۡهَا فَأَخۡرَجَهُمَا مِمَّا كَانَا فِيهِۖ وَقُلۡنَا ٱهۡبِطُواْ بَعۡضُكُمۡ لِبَعۡضٍ عَدُوّٞۖ وَلَكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مُسۡتَقَرّٞ وَمَتَٰعٌ إِلَىٰ حِينٖ

Doch Satan entfernte sie davon, und da vertrieb er sie aus dem, worin sie (an Glückseligkeit) gewesen waren. Wir sagten: Geht fort! Einige von euch seien der anderen Feind. Und auf der Erde sollt ihr Aufenthalt und Nießbrauch auf Zeit haben.

But Satan caused them to slip out of it and removed them from that [condition] in which they had been. And We said, "Go down, [all of you], as enemies to one another, and you will have upon the earth a place of settlement and provision for a time

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): Doch Satan ließ sie beide von ihr fallen, und da vertrieb er sie aus dem, worin sie (an Glückseligkeit) gewesen waren. Und Wir sagten: „Geht hinunter! Die einen von euch sind Feinde der anderen. Und auf der Erde sollt ihr Aufenthalt und Nießbrauch auf Zeit haben.“
• Hilali & Khan: Then the Shaitân (Satan) made them slip therefrom (the Paradise), and got them out from that in which they were. We said: "Get you down, all, with enmity between yourselves. On earth will be a dwelling place for you and an enjoyment for a time."
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Then Satan tempted them and drove them out of the state they were in, and We said, “Go down [to the earth], as enemies to one another. You will have an abode on earth and provision for an appointed time.”
