Koran 2:191 — Sure Al-Baqarah, Vers 191

وَٱقۡتُلُوهُمۡ حَيۡثُ ثَقِفۡتُمُوهُمۡ وَأَخۡرِجُوهُم مِّنۡ حَيۡثُ أَخۡرَجُوكُمۡۚ وَٱلۡفِتۡنَةُ أَشَدُّ مِنَ ٱلۡقَتۡلِۚ وَلَا تُقَٰتِلُوهُمۡ عِندَ ٱلۡمَسۡجِدِ ٱلۡحَرَامِ حَتَّىٰ يُقَٰتِلُوكُمۡ فِيهِۖ فَإِن قَٰتَلُوكُمۡ فَٱقۡتُلُوهُمۡۗ كَذَٰلِكَ جَزَآءُ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ

Und tötet sie, wo immer ihr auf sie trefft, und vertreibt sie, von wo sie euch vertrieben haben, denn Verfolgung ist schlimmer als Töten! Kämpft jedoch nicht gegen sie bei der geschützten Gebetsstätte, bis sie dort (zuerst) gegen euch kämpfen. Wenn sie aber (dort) gegen euch kämpfen, dann tötet sie. Solcherart ist der Lohn der Ungläubigen.

And kill them wherever you overtake them and expel them from wherever they have expelled you, and fitnah is worse than killing. And do not fight them at al-Masjid al- Haram until they fight you there. But if they fight you, then kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): Und tötet sie, wo immer ihr sie antrefft, und vertreibt sie, von wo sie euch vertrieben haben, denn die Heimsuchung ist schlimmer als das Töten! Und kämpft nicht gegen sie bei der geschützten Gebetsstätte (in Makkah), bis sie dort (zuerst) gegen euch kämpfen. Sollten sie nun (dort) gegen euch kämpfen, dann tötet sie. Auf diese Weise ist die Vergeltung der Ungläubigen.
• Hilali & Khan: And kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out. And Al-Fitnah is worse than killing. And fight not with them at Al-Masjid-Al-Harâm (the sanctuary at Makkah), unless they (first) fight you there. But if they attack you, then kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): And kill them wherever you find them, and drive them out from where they drove you out, for persecution is far worse than killing. But do not fight them at the Sacred Mosque unless they fight you there. However, if they fight you, then kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers.
