Koran 2:114 — Sure Al-Baqarah, Vers 114

وَمَنۡ أَظۡلَمُ مِمَّن مَّنَعَ مَسَٰجِدَ ٱللَّهِ أَن يُذۡكَرَ فِيهَا ٱسۡمُهُۥ وَسَعَىٰ فِي خَرَابِهَآۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ مَا كَانَ لَهُمۡ أَن يَدۡخُلُوهَآ إِلَّا خَآئِفِينَۚ لَهُمۡ فِي ٱلدُّنۡيَا خِزۡيٞ وَلَهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٞ

Und wer ist ungerechter, als wer verhindert, daß an Allahs Gebetsstätten Sein Name genannt wird, und sich bemüht, sie zu zerstören? Jene sollen sie nur in Furcht betreten. Für sie gibt es im Diesseits Schande und im Jenseits gewaltige Strafe.

And who are more unjust than those who prevent the name of Allah from being mentioned in His mosques and strive toward their destruction. It is not for them to enter them except in fear. For them in this world is disgrace, and they will have in the Hereafter a great punishment

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): Und wer ist ungerechter, als wer verhindert, dass an Allahs Gebetsstätten Sein Name erwähnt wird, und sich um ihre Zerstörung bemüht? Jene verdienen es, sie nur in Furcht zu betreten. Ihnen steht im Diesseits Schande zu und im Jenseits (steht ihnen) gewaltige Strafe zu.
• Hilali & Khan: And who are more unjust than those who forbid that Allâh’s Name be glorified and mentioned much (i.e. prayers and invocations, etc.) in Allâh’s Mosques and strive for their ruin? It was not fitting that such should themselves enter them (Allâh’s Mosques) except in fear. For them there is disgrace in this world, and they will have a great torment in the Hereafter.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Who does greater wrong than the one who prevents Allah’s name to be mentioned in His mosques and strives for their destruction? Such people do not deserve to enter them except in fear. There is a disgrace for them in this world and a great punishment in the Hereafter.
