Koran 2:105 — Sure Al-Baqarah, Vers 105

مَّا يَوَدُّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ وَلَا ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ أَن يُنَزَّلَ عَلَيۡكُم مِّنۡ خَيۡرٖ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡۚ وَٱللَّهُ يَخۡتَصُّ بِرَحۡمَتِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُۚ وَٱللَّهُ ذُو ٱلۡفَضۡلِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ

Weder diejenigen unter den Leuten der Schrift, die ungläubig sind, noch die Götzendiener möchten, daß euch etwas Gutes von eurem Herrn offenbart wird. Aber Allah zeichnet mit Seinem Erbarmen aus, wen Er will, denn Allah besitzt große Huld.

Neither those who disbelieve from the People of the Scripture nor the polytheists wish that any good should be sent down to you from your Lord. But Allah selects for His mercy whom He wills, and Allah is the possessor of great bounty

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): Weder möchten diejenigen unter den Leuten der Schrift, die ungläubig sind, noch die Götzendiener, dass auf euch etwas Gutes von eurem Herrn hinabgesandt wird. Aber Allah zeichnet mit Seiner Barmherzigkeit aus, wen Er will. Und Allah besitzt große Huld.
• Hilali & Khan: Neither those who disbelieve among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) nor Al-Mushrikûn (the idolaters, polytheists, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh, pagans, etc.) like that there should be sent down unto you any good from your Lord. But Allâh chooses for His Mercy whom He wills. And Allâh is the Owner of Great Bounty.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Neither those who disbelieved from the People of the Book nor the polytheists wish that your Lord sends down any good to you [O Muslims]. But Allah chooses for His mercy whom He wills, for Allah is the possessor of great bounty.
