Koran 16:93 — Sure An-Nahl, Vers 93

وَلَوۡ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ لَجَعَلَكُمۡ أُمَّةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗ وَلَٰكِن يُضِلُّ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَهۡدِي مَن يَشَآءُۚ وَلَتُسۡـَٔلُنَّ عَمَّا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ

Und wenn Allah gewollt hätte, hätte Er euch wahrlich zu einer einzigen Gemeinschaft gemacht. Aber Er läßt in die Irre gehen, wen Er will, und Er leitet recht, wen Er will, und ihr werdet ganz gewiß danach befragt werden, was ihr zu tun pflegtet.

And if Allah had willed, He could have made you [of] one religion, but He causes to stray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And you will surely be questioned about what you used to do

• Hilali & Khan: And had Allâh willed, He could have made you (all) one nation, but He sends astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. But you shall certainly be called to account for what you used to do.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): If Allah had willed, He would have made all of you a single community [of believers], but He causes to stray whom He wills and guides whom He wills, and you will surely be questioned about what you used to do.
