Koran 16:9 — Sure An-Nahl, Vers 9

وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ قَصۡدُ ٱلسَّبِيلِ وَمِنۡهَا جَآئِرٞۚ وَلَوۡ شَآءَ لَهَدَىٰكُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ

Allah obliegt es, (euch) auf dem richtigen Weg zu halten. Es gibt ja (auch) manche, die abweichen. Wenn Er gewollt hätte, hätte Er euch fürwahr allesamt rechtgeleitet.

And upon Allah is the direction of the [right] way, and among the various paths are those deviating. And if He willed, He could have guided you all

• Hilali & Khan: And upon Allâh is the responsibility to explain the Straight Path. But there are ways that turn aside (such as Paganism, Judaism and Christianity). And had He willed, He would have guided you all (mankind).
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): It is upon Allah to show the straight path, while other ways are deviant. If He had willed, He could have guided you all.
