Koran 13:4 — Sure Ar-Ra'd, Vers 4

وَفِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ قِطَعٞ مُّتَجَٰوِرَٰتٞ وَجَنَّـٰتٞ مِّنۡ أَعۡنَٰبٖ وَزَرۡعٞ وَنَخِيلٞ صِنۡوَانٞ وَغَيۡرُ صِنۡوَانٖ يُسۡقَىٰ بِمَآءٖ وَٰحِدٖ وَنُفَضِّلُ بَعۡضَهَا عَلَىٰ بَعۡضٖ فِي ٱلۡأُكُلِۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّقَوۡمٖ يَعۡقِلُونَ

Und auf der Erde sind nebeneinanderliegende Landstriche und Gärten mit Rebstöcken und (sonstige) Pflanzen und Palmen, mehrstämmig und einzelstämmig, die (alle) mit demselben Wasser bewässert werden. Wir zeichnen die einen von ihnen vor den anderen im Ernteertrag aus. Darin sind wahrlich Zei chen für Leute, die begreifen.

And within the land are neighboring plots and gardens of grapevines and crops and palm trees, [growing] several from a root or otherwise, watered with one water; but We make some of them exceed others in [quality of] fruit. Indeed in that are signs for a people who reason

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): Und auf der Erde sind nebeneinanderliegende Landstriche und Gärten mit Rebstöcken und Saat(bett) und Palmen mit mehreren und einzelnen Stämmen aus der einen Wurzel. Sie (alle) werden mit demselben Wasser bewässert. Und Wir ziehen die einen von ihnen den anderen im Ernteertrag vor. Wahrlich, darin sind Zeichen für Leute, die begreifen.
• Hilali & Khan: And in the earth are neighbouring tracts, and gardens of vines, and green crops (fields), and date-palms, growing into two or three from a single stem root, or otherwise (one stem root for every palm), watered with the same water; yet some of them We make more excellent than others to eat. Verily, in these things there are Ayât (proofs, evidence, lessons, signs) for the people who understand.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): And on the earth there are neighboring [yet different] tracts of land, and gardens of grapevines, grains and palm trees – some growing in clusters from one root or standing alone. They are all irrigated with the same water, yet We cause some of them to excel others in taste. Indeed, there are signs in this for people of understanding.
