Koran 13:37 — Sure Ar-Ra'd, Vers 37

وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ حُكۡمًا عَرَبِيّٗاۚ وَلَئِنِ ٱتَّبَعۡتَ أَهۡوَآءَهُم بَعۡدَ مَا جَآءَكَ مِنَ ٱلۡعِلۡمِ مَا لَكَ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ مِن وَلِيّٖ وَلَا وَاقٖ

Und so haben Wir ihn als ein Urteil auf arabisch hinabgesandt. Wenn du ihren Neigungen folgst nach dem, was dir an Wissen zugekommen ist, wirst du vor Allah weder Schutzherrn noch Behüter haben.

And thus We have revealed it as an Arabic legislation. And if you should follow their inclinations after what has come to you of knowledge, you would not have against Allah any ally or any protector

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): Und auf diese Weise haben Wir ihn als ein Urteil in arabisch(er) (Sprache) hinabgesandt. Solltest du nun ihren Neigungen folgen nach dem, was dir an Wissen zugekommen ist, wirst du vor Allah weder einen Schutzherrn noch Behüter haben.
• Hilali & Khan: And thus have We sent it (the Qur’ân) down to be a judgement of authority in Arabic. Were you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم) to follow their (vain) desires after the knowledge which has come to you, then you will not have any Walî (protector) or Wâq (defender) against Allâh.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Thus We have sent it down as a commandment in Arabic. If you were to follow their desires after the knowledge that has come to you, you would have no supporter or protector against Allah.
