Koran 11:91 — Sure Hud, Vers 91

قَالُواْ يَٰشُعَيۡبُ مَا نَفۡقَهُ كَثِيرٗا مِّمَّا تَقُولُ وَإِنَّا لَنَرَىٰكَ فِينَا ضَعِيفٗاۖ وَلَوۡلَا رَهۡطُكَ لَرَجَمۡنَٰكَۖ وَمَآ أَنتَ عَلَيۡنَا بِعَزِيزٖ

Sie sagten: O Su’aib, wir verstehen nicht viel von dem, was du sagst. Und wir sehen wahrlich, daß du unter uns nicht wehrhaft bist. Wenn deine Sippschaft nicht wäre, hätten wir dich fürwahr gesteinigt. Du hast ja bei uns kein Ansehen.

They said, "O Shu'ayb, we do not understand much of what you say, and indeed, we consider you among us as weak. And if not for your family, we would have stoned you [to death]; and you are not to us one respected

• Hilali & Khan: They said: "O Shu‘aib! We do not understand much of what you say, and we see you weak (it is said that he was a blind man) among us. Were it not for your family, we should certainly have stoned you and you are not powerful against us."
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): They said, “O Shu‘ayb, we do not understand much of what you say, and we surely see you weak among us. Were it not for your clan, we would have surely stoned you, for you have no standing among us.”
