Sura Al-Balad (90) — Grad · البلد

Mekanska sura, 20 ajeta.

Grad Mekka i uzbrdica: oslobađanje roba i hranjenje gladnoga.

Al-Balad 90:1

لَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِهَٰذَا ٱلۡبَلَدِ

Kunem se gradom ovim –

I swear by this city, Makkah

Al-Balad 90:2

وَأَنتَ حِلُّۢ بِهَٰذَا ٱلۡبَلَدِ

a tebi će biti dopušteno sve u gradu ovome –

And you, [O Muhammad], are free of restriction in this city

Al-Balad 90:3

وَوَالِدٖ وَمَا وَلَدَ

i roditeljem i onim koga je rodio,

And [by] the father and that which was born [of him]

Al-Balad 90:4

لَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ فِي كَبَدٍ

Mi čovjeka stvaramo da se trudi.

We have certainly created man into hardship

Al-Balad 90:5

أَيَحۡسَبُ أَن لَّن يَقۡدِرَ عَلَيۡهِ أَحَدٞ

Misli li on da mu niko ništa ne može?

Does he think that never will anyone overcome him

Al-Balad 90:6

يَقُولُ أَهۡلَكۡتُ مَالٗا لُّبَدًا

"Utrošio sam blago nebrojeno!" – reći će.

He says, "I have spent wealth in abundance

Al-Balad 90:7

أَيَحۡسَبُ أَن لَّمۡ يَرَهُۥٓ أَحَدٌ

Zar misli da ga niko vidio nije?

Does he think that no one has seen him

Al-Balad 90:8

أَلَمۡ نَجۡعَل لَّهُۥ عَيۡنَيۡنِ

Zar mu nismo dali oka dva

Have We not made for him two eyes

Al-Balad 90:9

وَلِسَانٗا وَشَفَتَيۡنِ

i jezik i usne dvije,

And a tongue and two lips

Al-Balad 90:10

وَهَدَيۡنَٰهُ ٱلنَّجۡدَيۡنِ

i dobro i zlo mu objasnili?

And have shown him the two ways

Al-Balad 90:11

فَلَا ٱقۡتَحَمَ ٱلۡعَقَبَةَ

Pa, zašto on na blagodatima zahvalan bio nije? –

But he has not broken through the difficult pass

Al-Balad 90:12

وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡعَقَبَةُ

A šta ti misliš: kako se može na blagodatima zahvalan biti? –

And what can make you know what is [breaking through] the difficult pass

Al-Balad 90:13

فَكُّ رَقَبَةٍ

roba ropstva osloboditi,

It is the freeing of a slave

Al-Balad 90:14

أَوۡ إِطۡعَٰمٞ فِي يَوۡمٖ ذِي مَسۡغَبَةٖ

ili, kad glad hara, nahraniti

Or feeding on a day of severe hunger

Al-Balad 90:15

يَتِيمٗا ذَا مَقۡرَبَةٍ

siroče bliska roda,

An orphan of near relationship

Al-Balad 90:16

أَوۡ مِسۡكِينٗا ذَا مَتۡرَبَةٖ

ili ubogoga nevoljnika,

Or a needy person in misery

Al-Balad 90:17

ثُمَّ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِٱلصَّبۡرِ وَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِٱلۡمَرۡحَمَةِ

a uz to da je od onih koji vjeruju, koji jedni drugima izdržljivost preporučuju i koji jedni drugima milosrđe preporučuju;

And then being among those who believed and advised one another to patience and advised one another to compassion

Al-Balad 90:18

أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَيۡمَنَةِ

oni će biti – sretnici!

Those are the companions of the right

Al-Balad 90:19

وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا هُمۡ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَشۡـَٔمَةِ

A oni koji ne vjeruju u dokaze Naše, oni će biti – nesretnici,

But they who disbelieved in Our signs - those are the companions of the left

Al-Balad 90:20

عَلَيۡهِمۡ نَارٞ مُّؤۡصَدَةُۢ

iznad njih će vatra zatvorena biti.

Over them will be fire closed in
